NKL Team Visits Long-Term Customer EPS Foam CHCH and Supports Planning for Their Second EPS Factory in Christchurch

On September 14, 2026, NKL's technical and sales team visited EPS Foam CHCH in Christchurch, New Zealand, conducting a follow-up review of the NKL EPS machinery that has been operating at the customer's factory since 2011.

During the visit, the NKL team inspected the existing production equipment and discussed its operating condition, maintenance requirements and opportunities for further improvement with the customer.

The visit also marked an important new stage in the cooperation between the two companies. EPS Foam CHCH is preparing to establish its second EPS factory in Christchurch, and NKL is supporting the project from the early planning stage.

Together with the customer, the NKL team discussed the preliminary factory layout, production flow, equipment arrangement and supporting utility systems. By considering these requirements before the new factory is finalized, the project can be better prepared for equipment installation, commissioning and future production.

The cooperation between NKL and the customer dates back to 2011, when NKL machinery was introduced into the Christchurch operation. More than 15 years later, the original equipment remains part of the customer's production operations, while the two companies are now working together on the next stage of expansion.
